My current go to, easy dessert for everything chocolate! People are always really surprised when I tell them I’ll make a chocolate soufflé on a weekly basis (yes, it’s THAT good) but it really is as simple as only 3 ingredients!
Souffle is light and fluffy, not overly filling or heavy like a rich chocolate cake. These personal size soufflé are also great because it’s like having your own oven fresh mini cake any time you want it! Leave a comment below if you give it a try!
What you’ll need: 1/4 or 1/2 cup of Nutella
1 or 2 eggs
1 teaspoon of sugar
1 small or 1 large ramekin
Two mixing bowls
Hand mixer or stand mixer
•Preheat over to 350°f.
•Separate egg yolks from whites.
•Add 1/4 cup of Nutella to egg yolk or 1/2 cup of Nutella if using two eggs. Combine until smooth.
•Beat egg whites to soft peaks. Add sugar and continue beating to stiff peaks.
•add 1/3 of egg whites to Nutella mixture and combine until smooth.
•add remaining egg whites to Nutella mixture by folding gently.
•put in the oven for about 20 minutes for a small soufflé and 40 minutes for a large one.
•remove from oven, let cool for a minute or so and enjoy! Best eaten warm :)
