A few months ago, I stared a YouTube channel where I was planning on posting a video a week of me playing a cover of a favorite song. Well, life gets in the way sometimes, and raising three kids and working full time PLUS staring your own business can be very time consuming. I am hoping with the start if this blog that it will make me more accountable for my music. Recording, sharing writing, collaborating, whatever it may be. Sometimes I forget that my skills as an artist are not only physical goods. It can be a felling we share through our music.
To be honest, I have no always been comfortable sharing my music. I constantly pick a song apart until I feel it isn't good enough to share. My voice cracked at one part, I lost my breath and couldn't finish a verse, these were all reasons why I would choose not to share or post. Well I am beginning to look past the minor imperfections, realize I am recording on my iPhone 7, and I do not use auto tune or harmonizing to change or amplify my music. It is just me.
My next goal is to gain the courage to perform at an open mic night, or on the beach during a busy day with a lot of people around. I want to feel more comfortable playing and sharing my music, because "music saves our mortal souls."
Below is the link to my YouTube channel, currently with only two videos posted.
Comment what songs you would like to hear me cover and ill do my best!

The first and currently only place you can buy my hand made items in person. The Makawao MarketPlace is located in Makawao, Hawaii on Maui, right across the street from Rodeo General Store! It is a space where local artisans can display and sell their items.
I have made numerous friends and gotten to connect with so many people at this location. Here I met Earl, a local crafter who creates a variety of items out of Axis Deer Antlers (and other animals antlers). We have collaborated on a number of different pendants and rings, combining my macrame wrapping techniques with his hand carved pendants and beads. The pieces are all unique since they are handmade. It is such a great experience to get to combine my skills with another to create a beautiful piece of art.
You can also find great eats from food touch like The Bee and Flower or Pele's Pizza. Links to both of their website are below! Made with locally sourced and organic products, these are delicacies you won't want to miss while you're on Maui! Plus, you're supporting local artists and business owners in the process! Win, Win!
